The days may have gotten shorter as we get ready to close out the year but there’s still all sorts of exciting things going on for you to add to your to-do list when planning your stay at The Regatta!! With all of our restaurants and bars still open and complying with Covid safety regulations, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite local places to safely visit and enjoy! 

Loggerheads Beach Grill
has got you covered with its newly redone outside patio catering to every football fanatic! From College to NFL, there’s a place for you to cheer on your team and rep your colors!! Make sure to check them out for their daily specials and happy hours from Sunday-Sunday! 

•Another local staple is The Washout! 
-Mondays @ 6pm they host a fun and competitive corn hole tournament! With prizes of $50 gift certificates for 1st and $20 for 2nd place, it’s a tossup you don’t want to miss!!

-Wednesdays @ The Washout features an Artists Village and Oyster Roast! Where local artists bring out their very best to display and sell, we’re sure you’ll find something worth taking home and remembering! We can’t forget the oysters! $12 gets you a bucket of the Low country’s finest to enjoy with some drinks and live music all in the same location! •Travel to Planet Follywood!!
-Mondays is Bingo night! With great prizes and equally great drink specials you’ll want to be on the spot for this!!!

-Tuesdays they break our the karaoke machine!!! Come join the locals and jam out to all of your favorites! Awesome drink specials and of course FREE spaghetti night(dine in only)!!!!! What planet are YOU on to want to pass that up!? Keep an eye on any updates on their Facebook page:

•Make sure to stop by Low Life!!
-Friday’s at Lowlife are just that, Fry Days!!! Serving their beautifully seasoned fried catfish with their amazing Old Bay seasoned waffle fries! You’ll want to pair that with a selection of their local beers on tap and you’ve got yourself a memorable southern fry dinner!!! That’s every Friday at Lowlife!!! Visit their Facebook for more info:

•Just off of Folly is another local gem: The Barrel!! 
-With no shortage of local and domestic craft beers available, you’re guaranteed to try something that might just become your new favorite! Accompany that with some of Charleston’s best local food trucks serving some good eats while you enjoy their beautiful out door area with a view you don’t want to miss. Hosting live bands in a puppy friendly environment, you’ll be sure to make great memories and maybe a four legged friend or two! •Bowen’s Island
-This is one of those places where you’ll feel right at home as soon as you park your car. Their motto is: “An Island, a restaurant, a state of mind”, and if that ain’t the whole truth!! Located right outside of Folly, you’ll want to make sure to grab a big bucket of oysters or a plate of their delicious crab cakes to enjoy at the sight of our beautiful Lowcountry sunset! If it’s a true southern atmosphere you’re looking for while enjoying some good Charleston seafood, this is a must. Locals and visitors alike will all agree. •Now if what you’re looking for is an adventure enjoying the beauty of the island itself? We’ve got you covered there too! Below we’ve listed some of our local spots to get you on the sailboat ride you’ve been dreaming of or even just a simple bike ride rental to get you to and fro! 


•Morris Island Lighthouse
-Just on the other end of the island is a beautiful nature walk to the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve. Once you reach the inlet you’ll have a great place to bird watch, search for dolphin pods coming into the inlet or just lay down your blanket take a time to soak up some sun! Definitely a favorite for everyone that comes to the island you won’t want leave without going yourself!   

•Sail Folly
-Folly’s premier sailing adventures will guarantee you the trip of a lifetime. Experience the island in the way you were meant to. With their private sunset sails or private day/dolphin watch sails, you’re going to enjoy the magic of our beautiful island like you’d never believe. •Folly Beach Adventures
-Looking to kayak? Maybe paddle-board? Perhaps you wanna stay on land and take the scenic route through the streets of Folly? Folly Beach Adventures has you covered. And finally starting on the 13th of November is the annual Holiday Festival of Lights! A renowned and beloved Lowcountry favorite, you’ll be able to enjoy it all from the comfort of your car! Drive through millions of dazzling lights, it’s a spectacle you won’t want to miss!! Prices per vehicle is $20 for up to 15 people and it runs until January!
